About Us

Before our daughter, there were five we never got to hold.

Five pregnancies. Five losses. Years of hoping, grieving, and hoping again. We were starting to make peace with a quieter kind of life when my sister offered to carry our baby for us. 

That is how our daughter finally arrived — our miracle, carried into the world by the aunt who loved her before the rest of us had even met her. 

We have never found a better word for it than a gift from God: an answered prayer with a heartbeat.

When she was born, someone gave us a small baby block engraved with her name, her birth stats, and a note written just for us. After everything we'd been through, holding something real with her name on it broke us wide open. It was the first time the joy felt safe to keep.

That block is the reason Glitzby exists. We wanted to give other families the same feeling it gave us — the moment a long-awaited name is finally written down and made to last.

So we began making them, one at a time, from our home. It's our full-time work now. Every block is cut from sustainable hardwood birch, chosen by hand, and engraved with the names and dates a family never wants to forget. It has let us build a whole life around the very thing we waited so long for: raising our daughter under our own roof, surrounded by the work her story set in motion.
